Caterpillar introduces Cat XQ60 generator set

June 9, 2016 – Caterpillar Inc. has introduced its Cat XQ60 mobile diesel generator set, rated at 60 kVA. It meets Tier 4 final emission standard and is Caterpillar’s fourth Tier 4 Final mobile generator set in the range extending from 35 to 570 kVA.

 
Equipped with a galvanized enclosure and Caterpillar’s EMCP 4.2B control panel, the Cat XQ60 includes power metering, protective relaying and engine and generator control and monitoring. Caterpillar says it also “enhances performance and ease of operation by integrating the voltage regulator and simplifying the process for changing voltage to suit various applications.”
