Cavet Technologies LumiSmart ILC intelligent lighting controller

Now with UL certification, Cavet Technologies announced the general availability of its LumiSmart ILC (intelligent lighting controller). Developed for the commercial and industrial markets, the ILC aims to reduce the power consumed by fluorescent lighting systems “with no discernable impact on occupant comfort”. LumiSmart ILC is a smart grid-enabled lighting controller that provides microprocessor-driven adaptive control of lighting circuits to reduce power consumption. Providing an instant 30% or more power reduction without replacing any existing lamps, ballasts or fixtures, the LumiSmart ILC is suited to a variety of lighting environments.
