Chatsworth releases 189 BIM product model drawings for Autodesk Revit

Chatsworth Products Inc. (CPI) now offers drawings for building information modelling (BIM). CPI’s library of design tools now includes a free, expansive suite of 189 BIM product model drawings developed to assist customers with projects utilizing Autodesk Revit software. BIM is an integrated process for digitally exploring a project’s key physical and functional characteristics before it is actually built. By employing 3-D, real-time, dynamic building modelling software, BIM aims to increase productivity in building design and construction. CPI offers BIM drawings in the following major product families: cable runway and tray; cable management; rack systems; cabinet and enclosure systems; and wallmount systems. Over 80% of CPI’s major products are included in the BIM software, with more being added.
