September 25, 2023 – Brady Canada—a manufacturer of “complete solutions that identify and protect people, products and places”—is celebrating its 65th anniversary this year. Congratulations! (SEE our PHOTOS below).

“Brady Canada has certainly evolved since the first office was opened in 1958,” noted Jamie Button, country manager-Canada. “Our small team has hundreds of years of tenure, which says a lot about the company and its culture.”

Brady Canada was born September 24, 1958, as the first business started by Brady Corp. outside of the United States. Now located on Cochrane Drive in Markham., Ont., Brady Canada’s first location was 112 Adelaide Street East, Toronto.

The parent company, however, was founded over 100 years ago by William H. Brady as a small sign painting company. Today, the fourth generation of the family serves on Brady’s board of directors, and its headquarters remain in Wisconsin, where the company was founded.

Electrical Business Magazine attended Brady Canada’s anniversary celebration at the company’s Markham location, where team members and guests were treated to celebratory convection and a gourmet food truck specializing in duck wings, tacos, and Thai bowls.
