Cooper B-Line—a provider of support systems and enclosure solutions for engineered facility subsystem applications—has “officially” announced the opening of its new manufacturing facility in Calgary, Alta., which makes local cable tray system delivery possible in just one to three days. (We say “officially” because we learned of this at the Alberta Electrical League’s Learning Expo several weeks ago.)

“About a year ago, we identified the need for expanded fitting assembly offerings in the Canadian market,” explained Kevin Kissling, president, Cooper B-Line. “We’re pleased to now provide area contractors with the fast turnaround times they’ve asked for through local production in Calgary.”

At 30,500 sf with 6000 sf devoted to fitting assembly for cable tray systems and cabling support options, the facility will support the cable management needs of electrical contractors and distributors in the commercial, industrial and oil & gas sectors on both small- and large-scale projects.

“Our Calgary facility is yet another example of our ongoing commitment to customer service,” added Kissling.

Cooper B-Line’s cable tray products and corresponding accessories meet CSA International and cUL standards.
