Cooper Bussmann launches UL 1449 surge protective devices

February 28, 2012 – Cooper Bussmann has expanded its Surge Protection Made Simple line with new UL DIN-rail surge protective devices (SPD) that deliver comprehensive UL 1449 3rd edition recognized overvoltage protection. The newest solution features many of the same great benefits that make choosing, installing and maintaining SPDs quick and easy, says the company. The UL 1449 SPDs are available with Short-Circuit Current Ratings (SCCR) up to 200kA and are ideal for UL 508A panel shops looking to achieve high assembly SCCR ratings, it adds.
