March 6, 2010 | By Anthony Capkun

Four of Cooper Lighting’s products have been recognized for excellence by the Next-Generation Luminaires (NGL) Solid-State Lighting Design Competition, which is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DoE), Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IES) and International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD).

The second annual NGL competition was created to recognize and promote
excellence in the design of energy-efficient LED commercial lighting
luminaires. Cooper’s four awarded products were chosen as winners in
four different categories of lighting for both indoor and outdoor
environments.

The ‘recognized’ products include Halo Stasis LED track lighting
luminaires, Halo LED 900 recessed downlight series, Invue LED Entri
wallmount luminaires, and Streetworks OVH LED Cobrahead roadway
luminaire.
