December 6, 2012 – Chatsworth Products Inc. (CPI) has developed the eConnect Power Distribution Units (PDUs) as a “new generation of power management solutions for enterprise data centres”. The eConnect PDUs allow customers to accurately monitor energy usage at the server level and reliably power critical loads in high temperature environments, adds CPI. Offering a low profile design that boasts reduced airflow disruptions, ambient air temperature rating of 65ºC (149ºF) and more than 160 standard configurations, eConnect PDUs are available in Basic, Monitored, Monitored Pro, Switched and Switched Pro units. The units are UL listed in Canada.
