September 30, 2015 – Cree says it has introduced new KR8 and LR6 LED downlights, “designed to deliver better lighting performance and better value for new and existing commercial spaces”.

The KR8 expands the KR Series by adding Cree’s first 8-in. downlight, and features Cree WaveMax technology and Cree TrueWhite technology. The addition means the portfolio now addresses ceiling heights from 8 ft up to 40 ft.

The next generation of the LR6 downlight provides “even better light quality at a lower price”, according to Cree. It delivers up to 1800 lumens at a minimum CRI of 90.
 
Both are covered by a 10-year limited warranty.
