Cree introduces LEDway HO street light

January 6, 2014 – Cree says its LEDway high output LED street light is designed to replace high pressure sodium (HPS) lighting up to 400W from a single platform and cut energy usage in half.

According to the company, the street light delivers highly focused, directional light at nine adjustable lumen output levels through Cree’s NanoOptic Precision Delivery Grid optic technology, while claiming to reduce energy usage by more than 50% compared to outdated HPS street lights. The fixture is suitable for multi-lane freeways, expressways and roadways.
