March 3, 2014 – Cree has expanded its outdoor lighting portfolio with the new XSP area LED luminaire and XSPW wall pack LED luminaire, designed to replace metal halide HID luminaires and cut energy consumption by 65%.

Featuring Cree’s NanoOptic Precision Delivery Grid optic technology, the luminaires boast better optical control and more uniform, white light than metal halide fixtures. Various mounting and optical options are available to support different installations and applications.
