CSA Group to open new Calgary office

June 5, 2015 – CSA Group says it will be expanding its presence in Alberta by opening a branch in Calgary to serve industries that require testing, inspection and certification services.

“Calgary has long been considered Canada’s energy capital, and we are very excited to offer local services to our clients in the oil and gas industry,” said Nashir Jiwani, CSA Group regional vice-president for Canada.

The new space will have experts on hand to provide services in standards development, hazardous and ordinary location testing and field certification, special inspections for electrical equipment, factory audits, pipeline component attestation and third party inspections.

CSA Group said it is hiring seven new employees for this expansion.
