CSA lists Meltric’s DS200 receptacle for hazardous locations

April 23, 2019 – CSA has listed Meltric’s upgraded DS200 power receptacle for Zone 2 hazardous locations.

Rated for 40 to 100 hp in applications up to 600 V AC, the DS200 device is CSA-listed for Class 1, Division 2, Groups ABCD, T6 Class I, Zone 2, IIC. A standard screw-type locking pawl aims to prevent accidental disconnections and connections. Lockout holes on the receptacle and inlet enable the insertion of a lock or locking pin (for lockout-tagout) and can also be used to lock the device in the mated position gto further prevent accidental disconnections.

The DS200 is available in wall-mounted, panel-mounted and in-line configurations. It is not to be used for current interrupting in hazardous environments.
