Dean Johnson new president of Acklands-Grainger

September 9, 2014 – Grainger—a supplier of MRO (maintenance, repair and operating) products—has named Dean Johnson president of its Canadian business, Acklands-Grainger. Johnson assumes this role from Eric Nowlin, who is returning to California.
“We are excited to welcome Dean to Grainger,” said Court Carruthers, senior vice-president and group president, Americas. “He has significant experience managing large organizations throughout Canada, and a strong focus on customer service and employee engagement.”
Johnson joins Acklands-Grainger from Sodexo Canada, where he served as president and CEO. He serves as a board member of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) and the Catalyst Canada Advisory Board. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Business Management Certificate, from the University of Calgary.
He starts October 1 and will be based in Toronto.
