October 12, 2020 – Dewalt’s new Atomic Compact Series 20V MAX 1-3/4-in. bandsaw (DCS377) is intended for common, small-sized metal diameters found on the jobsite, making it suitable for electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other metalworking applications.

The tool weighs 6.6 lb (without battery) and sports an integrated guard for one-handed, overhead cutting applications. The variable-speed trigger and speed dial provide added control when cutting materials such as stainless steel, strut or all thread, says Dewalt.

The bandsaw is designed with an integrated hang hook, an LED for illumination, and a bracket for mounting a Lanyard Ready attachment (sold separately). It is also compatible with the Dewalt Tool Connect Chip (sold separately) for tool management and tracking.
