March 19, 2019 – DeWalt is expanding its 20V Max system with the introduction of the Atomic compact series of six new tools, which will be rolled out throughout 2019 and 2020.

Designed for use by electricians and other tradespeople working in tight spaces, overhead and/or for long periods, the line launches this spring with the debut of the 20V Max compact drill/driver and impact driver. They are kitted with two compact batteries or available bare (i.e. without batteries) and feature brushless motors, LED worklights, variable speed triggers and adjustable belt hooks for left or right attachment.

This fall, they will be joined by the 20V Max compact hammer drill/driver, circular saw and oscillating multi-tool. Finally, in early 2020, DeWalt will release the 20V max compact reciprocating saw.
