Dewalt Snap-Off knives and blades feature carbide technology

July 24, 2012 – Dewalt has introduced its Snap-Off knives and blades featuring carbide technology, claiming to deliver increased blade life, maintain first-cut sharpness and offer snap resistance while lasting up to give times longer than the competition. The blades are manufactured using high-powered laser technology to deposit tungsten carbide powder onto the edge of the blade. The blades are suitable for use in various building applications, such as roofing, drywall, and ceiling tile installation.
