October 26, 2021 | By Anthony Capkun

October 26, 2021 – Electrical Contractors Association of British Columbia has partnered with Engworks Inc. so that members can take the latter’s “Hazardous Locations Fundamentals” course with a 10% discount.

“As the voice of British Columbia’s electrical and line utility industry, ECABC is always looking to provide our members with access to new and relevant courses that will help them in their businesses and careers,” said Michaela Konken, ECABC’s education coordinator.

The course is based on the 2021 CE Code Code, covering both Zone- and Division-classified facilities. It is intended to promote competence in the design, installation, inspection, and verification of electrical equipment in hazardous locations.

“The skills taught in this course are critical for anyone wanting to ensure safety in hazardous locations,” said Engworks’ principal, Allan Bozek. “The course is of particular interest to electrical inspectors and workers, including electrical engineers in hazloc.”
