DoorBird enters North American market

September 3, 2015 – DoorBird, previously only known in the European WiFi doorbell system market, is coming across the pond.

DoorBird, a smartphone video doorbell from Bird Home Automation LLC, is now available in North and South America and can be ordered from and shipped to Canada.

The DoorBird offers an extended WiFi range as well as a “fast and high quality connection” with a low latency in audio and video. It connects to an existing door chime and electronic lock, gate or garage door opener and comes in a weatherproofed and tamper-resistant stainless steel design.

The BirdGuard add-on camera is also available with DoorBird.
