June 2, 2016 – National Safety Apparel (NSA) has acquired Drifire from Optimer Brands, based in Chicago, Ill. Drifire calls itself “a brand of technologically-advanced performance safety apparel that was born on the battlefield to protect military personnel”. Today the line is used in a variety of industries, which include power generation, petrochemical, and more.
Drifire line will be promoted to NSA’s distributor-partners alongside their existing ArcGuard, Vizable 360°, Carbon Armour, HYDROlite FR, and TECGEN Select brands.
“This acquisition further strengths our position in the safety market as a leader of FR performance garments,” said Chuck Grossman, NSA president & CEO. “We will continue to look for strategic acquisitions that complement the markets we serve.”
NSA is registered to ISO 9001 with design, by Smithers Quality Assessments.
