(UPDATED August 1, 2014, with photo) July 30, 2014 – Tripp Smith is joining EarthTronics as vice president of sales, bringing with him more than 30 years of experience in the lighting industry.

His responsibilities will be to help develop and execute new strategies to profitably increase sales opportunities, and expand market share for EarthTronics in North America, noted the company.

Prior to joining EarthTronics, Smith spent more than 22 years with GE Lighting in a variety of sales and leadership roles in both retail and commercial lighting businesses. He has also held sales and leadership positions with Philips Lighting, Osram Sylvania Lighting, Lithonia Lighting and Feit Electric.
