December 5, 2012 – Eaton has launched the 9PX uninterruptible power system (UPS) for 5-11kVA applications, claiming to provide about 28% more power than traditional UPSs. The system is best suited for medium-to-high-density IT equipment in computer rooms and small data centres in industrial, manufacturing, medical and telecommunications applications. The 9PX UPS is bundled with a network card and Eaton’s Intelligent Power Software Suite, a power management and protection software.
