Eaton adds 1.5-A quiet fan speed controls

November 30, 2018 – Power management company Eaton’s wiring devices division has introduced new 1.5-A quiet fan speed controls, designed to help reduce noise in light commercial and residential environments.

The three-speed controls, available in two styles, combine a standard toggle on/off switch with a ‘smooth slide’ for selecting low, medium or high speeds. At low speeds, they help minimize fan motor humming.

The products are compatible with traditional wall plates and are equipped with interchangeable kits to facilitate upgrades of standard fan switches.
