Eaton introduces 1500V DC solar combiner boxes

August 8, 2016 – Eaton says its Crouse-Hinds series 1500V DC combiner boxes for large-scale solar PV applications are designed to help customers lower system costs by reducing wiring requirements and installation time.

The combiner boxes help facilitate longer strings, Eaton says, and have fewer connection points. They are available with or without integral DC disconnect switches, up to 24 input circuits and a 15A fuse size. They also meet UL-1741 standards for grid connection and are Interek (ETL) listed.
