April 27, 2015 | By Renée Francoeur

April 27, 2015 – Eaton says its Corelite RZL LED suspended luminaire “provides a cost effective solution in large open-ceiling environments, offering up to 55% in energy savings” over fluorescent luminaires.

“The Corelite RZL product’s propriety LED platform offers customers a high-performing solution for new and retrofit open offices, retail and educational spaces,” said Mark Eubanks, president of Eaton’s Cooper lighting division. “The luminaire’s compact profile, aesthetically pleasing, low glare design and powerful performance provide high efficacies, surpassing 100 lumens per watt, while also offering low power consumption.”

The RZL luminaire features five shielding variations to fit different architectural styles and preferences. Five light level options ranging from nominal 3,000 lumens (30W) to over 8,000 lumens (84W) also meet the requirements for different mounting heights and spacings, Eaton said. The product can also be suspended by aircraft cables or with a pendant or surface mounted.

The RZL fixture is available in 4, 8 and 12-ft modular sections. The luminaire features daylight sensors to a proprietary internal joining sleeve for continuous runs as well as an integral emergency battery backup option.
