Eaton’s Steve Boccadoro and Perry D’Ortenzio on the move

May 30, 2014 – Steve Boccadoro has been named senior vice-president and general manager, Eaton Electrical Canada, effective June 1, and reporting to him will be Perry D’Ortenzio, who has been named vice-president, sales and marketing, Electrical Canada, Electrical Sector-Americas.

Boccadoro (photo 1) joined Eaton in 1987 and has held numerous roles in Canada and the U.S., including controller, plant manager, marketing manager, VP/GM and SVP corporate sales & marketing. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from McMaster University and is a chartered accountant. Based in Burlington, Ont., Boccadoro will report to Grant Gawronski, president, Electrical Industrial and Infrastructure Group.

D’Ortenzio (photo 2), meantime, will be responsible for the overall marketing strategy, execution and commercial approach for Eaton’s electrical business in Canada. He will also be responsible for sales synergies, channel management and coordinating the commercial segment strategy, including Oil & Gas and Mining. In addition, D’Ortenzio will oversee the Electrical Canada sales and marketing teams.
