March 28, 2019 – During its annual general meeting (AGM) on Mar. 5, E.B. Horsman & Son (EBH), a Western Canadian distributor of electrical parts, presented its supplier of the year award for 2018 to electrification product manufacturer ABB’s Canadian business.
Tyson Carvell, EBH’s vice-president (VP) of marketing, presented the award to Ed Atkinson, ABB’s commercial and construction sales manager for British Columbia, who accepted on behalf of Rob Ruys, ABB’s regional manager for Western Canada.
To determine the winner of the annual award, EBH monitors sales and operations of each of its 600-plus supplier partners, solicits feedback from its branch network on the effectiveness of teamwork with the supplier partners, discusses strategic sales accomplishments and analyzes key operational metrics and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
“Over the past year, the ABB team consistently supported our sales, marketing and operations with concerted efforts across all of our territories,” says Carvell. “We experienced significant growth together in 2018, thanks to ABB’s commitment to digitalization of the supply chain. In the competitive industry we operate in, it is a pleasure to know we can count on the ABB team to deliver on their promises.”
