November 2, 2011 – EGS Electrical Group, a business unit of Emerson Industrial Automation, has promoted Ricardo Mejia to vice-president of Performance Excellence. Mejia will report directly to EGS CEO, Eric Meyer.

Mejia began his career at Emerson in May 1999 as an operations planner with Hermetic Motor Division in St. Louis. In January 2002, he became the Lean Champion for the Hermetic facility in Reynosa, Mexico, and he progressed to positions of increasingly responsibilities within Hermetic to include materials manager, Division Lean Champion and director of Quality.
