September 13, 2017 – One couldn’t have asked for better weather for the 5th annual Electric Elle golf tournament, and EBMag’s new account manager—Jacquie Rankin—was there as a first-timer. She came back saying “it is a great event that attracts some incredible industry women”.

Electrical Business Magazine was proud to step up as a sponsor of the event, sponsoring the prize for Best Team Name.

While her team didn’t win that prize, Jacquie says she and her teammates (Dorothy, Shannon and Carly a.k.a. The “PAR-fects”) nonetheless enjoyed the opportunity to get to know one another over 9 holes of golf.

The 5th annual Electric Elle brought together about 60 women from industry—representing professionals from electrical manufacturing, distribution, consulting and more—for a 9-hole round of Best Ball, followed by dinner and awards. The event tool place at Cardinal Golf Club in King City, Ont.

The annual event is open to women working in all areas of the electrical industry and, what’s best, you don’t need to have any golfing experience to participate. In fact, besides Best Team Name, there was also a prize for Most Lost Balls.
