October 6, 2020 – Now in their sixth year, the Electric Vehicle Awards recognize Canadian car dealerships and electrical utilities that are leaders in the sale and promotion of electric vehicles.

Electric utilities are rewarded based on the merits and impacts of utility-led EV programs and initiatives.

The 2020 EV Award winners were recognized by Plug’n Drive and the Canadian Electricity Association (CEA) during a virtual ceremony on September 29, and Alectra Utilities (Ontario) is the proud recipient of the  Tom Mitchell Electric Vehicle Utility Leadership Award.

“Being recognized by both Plug ‘n Drive and the Canadian Electricity Association (CEA) shows that we are on the right path as an ally supporting the electrification of transportation,” said Brian Bentz, president & CEO, Alectra Utilities. “The work that we are doing allows us to explore new, green technologies that we can share with our customers.”
