August 1, 2018 — Electrical Business Magazine has hired a new editor, Peter Saunders.

He stepped into the role on July 30 and succeeds Anthony Capkun, the magazine’s editor for nearly 14 years, who was recently promoted to associate publisher.

Saunders brings over 15 years of experience in trade publishing. He has edited magazines about technology for government, electrical sign manufacturing and other niche industries and markets. He began his work in this field as an assistant editor to Capkun on trade publications for construction specifiers and architects.

“I am excited to join the Electrical Business team and look forward to meeting as many professionals in the field as possible,” says Saunders. “I hope to continue Anthony’s tradition of keeping in contact with the electrical contractor community and ensuring we provide valuable content that meets their needs.”
