Hungry for Change (HFC)—an initiative of Canada’s electrical industry to feed hungry children around the world through Canadian Feed the Children—is working on an industry cookbook called “Electricity Cooks” as another means of fundraising. This high-quality, hardcover cookbook will feature favourite recipes from executives within Canada’s electrical industry, along with company profiles to promote the corporate support behind Hungry for Change. And you’re invited to participate!

Getting involved couldn’t be simpler: your $500 donation includes a
two-page spread within the book highlighting your company profile along
with one recipe from your most senior executive. Recipes submitted can
be your executive’s own recipe, or a favourite recipe that has been
enjoyed by family or friends. All proceeds from the corporate profiles
and modest book sale profits will go to Hungry for Change.


Electricity Cooks will become keepsakes for cooks throughout the
industry, and a reminder of the people and businesses who want to make a
difference for children around the world. Hungry for Change will be
pre-selling the cookbooks to avoid over-production, and they will be
ready for delivery before Christmas.
