June 16, 2013 – Electricity Human Resources Canada (EHRC) says it has extended the nomination submission deadline to July 4 for its inaugural awards recognizing exceptional achievements in the electricity workforce. The five award categories are:

• CEO of the Year
• Workplace Diversity Champion
• Emerging Leader Award
• Innovation in HR Practices: Employer Award
• Innovation in HR Practices: Educational/Training Institution Award

“When you nominate on behalf of an outstanding employee or HR practice, you are honouring them for their hard work and giving recognition to the people in our workforce who are making a difference,” says EHRC.
