January 24, 2013 – Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) and the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH) today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) “designed to establish a framework for cooperation that will enable continued development of the plumbing and electrical industries through communication and cooperation”.

The agreement was signed by EFC president and CEO Jim Taggart and CIPH president and general manager Ralph Suppa. The purpose of the agreement is to provide a mechanism for cooperation through a voluntary exchange of information on common matters that affect the plumbing and electrical products industries globally.

In implementing the agreement, EFC and CIPH will work cooperatively to exchange information on pertinent issues via publications, reports, association conferences and industry meetings, as well as promote educational opportunities for their members to learn about technological advancements in the design and manufacture of plumbing and electrical products and systems.
