Electrofed officially launches annual marketing awards program

January 23, 2014 | By Anthony Capkun

January 24, 2014 – We tweeted this news back in November 2013, but now it is official: Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) has launched its first annual marketing awards program, which is designed to “recognize organizations demonstrating marketing excellence and innovation within the Canadian electrical manufacturing and distribution and electronics” industries.

“This awards program provides the opportunity for organizations in Canada to showcase marketing excellence and innovation,” said Tom Mason, director of communications and business development with Sonepar Canada, and chair of EFC’s Marketing & Communications Committee, adding that “the energy and enthusiasm demonstrated by our members indicates this will be a very important and successful initiative for our industry.”

This initiative—in both English and French—is only open to current EFC members.

“The EFC Marketing Awards is a platform for our EFC members to share successes unique to the Canadian market, and engages manufacturers, distributors and representatives that will recognize innovation and fuel new ideas in our industry,” noted John Jefkins, EFC’s vice-president marketing & communications.
