May 15, 2012 – JMC Steel Group Inc. confirmed today the sales structure and representatives for Picoma Industries’ electrical conduit fittings in the Canadian provinces. Picoma, a producer of pipe connections for the electrical industry since 1946, was previously sold in Canada under the Columbia-MBF brand name by Allied Tube.
“Picoma-made products have earned widespread acceptance among electrical contractors across Canada over the past eight years,” said Steve Camilletti, Picoma’s national sales manager. “The product quality remains the same; only the name has changed.”
A member of the JMC Steel Group, Picoma produces a complete line of galvanized elbows, couplings, nipples and EC&N packages. Picoma will be sold through five independent sales groups, including:
ELP Marketing Ltd. (Maritimes)
EP Sales (Alberta)
G.L. Electrical Sales (Ontario)
Ken Watt & Associates (British Columbia)
Laplante & Associates (Quebec)
Titan Marketing Solutions (Saskatchewan and Manitoba)
JMC Steel Group includes the operating divisions of Atlas Tube, Picoma, Energex Tube and Wheatland Tube.
