May 15, 2019 – Emerson has added four new models of its Greenlee battery hydraulic crimpers and cutters, including two in-line quad point indenters (example pictured), a die-less underground indenting crimper and an in-line aluminum conductor steel-reinforced cable (ACSR) and guy wire cutter.

Each tool features single trigger activation, an enclosed impact-resistant housing, an overmoulded grip and an organic LED (OLED) screen that indicates tool performance when needed. They are powered by 18-V lithium-ion Makita batteries.

The tools also provide communications via the i-press app, which allows workers to view battery charge, last service date, last five pressure measurements, tool temperature and number of completed cycles.
