July 26, 2021 – Emerson’s Appleton IHC Series of LED luminaires are designed to support heavy industrial facilities requiring lighting fixtures capable of withstanding maximum ambient temperatures of 75 C.

Featuring lumen outputs of 50K, 60K, 75K and 90K, the luminaires supply up to 250% more output than standard LED fixtures on the market, says Emerson, thereby requiring fewer luminaires, and consuming 60% less energy than traditional HID lighting.

The luminaires LED optics direct light only where it is needed, and employ thermal management for rapidly dissipating heat. The IHC LED series promises over 60,000 hours of low-maintenance lighting; meantime, an epoxy powder coating is applied on luminaire housings, while stainless steel hardware is used for corrosion protection. Silicone gaskets seal out water or dust particles, and built-in 8-kV surge suppression absorbs transient surges.
