June 28, 2016 - An international industry assessment has recognised Ontario Power Generation’s (OPG) Darlington Nuclear Generating Station as one of the “safest and best performing nuclear stations in the world” for the third time in a row. It is the first time a plant outside the United States has received the recognition three times, according to OPG.

June 9, 2016 - Caterpillar Inc. has introduced its Cat XQ60 mobile diesel generator set, rated at 60 kVA. It meets Tier 4 final emission standard and is Caterpillar’s fourth Tier 4 Final mobile generator set in the range extending from 35 to 570 kVA.
June 7, 2016 - Construction is underway to refurbish Ontario Power Generation’s (OPG) reservoir at the Sir Adam Beck Pump Generating Station (PGS), which OPG says can hold the equivalent of water from 8000 Olympic-sized swimming pools.
