November 3, 2017 — Caterpillar Inc. has five new 50-Hz standby power nodes for the Cat 3516C diesel generator set. Three of these products are low-NOx, 50-Hz power nodes with ratings of 2,250 kVA, 2,500 kVA and 2,750 kVA that have been designed for use in regulated emissions environments and applications. The other two products are 50-Hz nodes with ratings of 3,000 kVA and 3,125 kVA with certification to U.S. EPA Tier 2 emissions regulations.
November 1, 2017 - The British Columbia Utilities Commission has completed its inquiry examining the impact on BC Hydro ratepayers associated with continuing, suspending or terminating the Site C project, and it is “not persuaded Site C will remain on schedule for a November 2024 in-service date” and believes “completion costs may be in excess of $10 billion.”
