Enphase System offers Envoy Wi-Fi option, M215 microinverter

February 10, 2014 – Enphase Energy has expanded the Enphase System with new hardware and software products that claim to lower solar system installation and operations costs for solar professionals.

The new hardware includes a Wi-Fi option for the Envoy Communications Gateway and M215 microinverter with integrated ground. Based on Enphase’s fourth-generation microinverter platform, the integrated ground technology eliminates the need for a grounding electrode conductor (GEC) to be attached to each microinverter. As well, all systems reporting through the Envoy are now visible in the web-based Enlighten software platform.
