ESA seeks input on large home, apartment and condo fees – 2015
April 20, 2015 By Anthony Capkun
April 20, 2015 – Thanks ECAO for letting us know Ontario’s Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) is looking for licensed electrical contractors that regularly work on large new single-family dwellings, or large apartments or condos, to be part of Working Group meetings in May.
ESA says it announced a change in how it would calculate fees for these installations back in January, adding that it received “significant feedback from contractors”. The organization deferred implementation and is forming working groups to help develop the final approach to pricing.
The deadline to apply for a Working Group is April 23 (not much time). The groups will meet May 13.
