EFC Economic Forecast 2020 – Part 1 (online)

Electro-Federation Canada is offering its members a complimentary Economic Forecast 2-part webinar series with special guest economist, Maureen Farrow (Economap Inc.) in June and September.

(While this event is typically a paid event that’s held in-person each fall, EFC has revamped the program to offer it online.)

This series promises to provide EFC members with a “timely pulse on global and national economic conditions so you can make more informed business decisions and better define strategic plans”.

Part 1: June 23, 2020 – 1 pm EST

Part 2: September 24, 2020 – 1 pm EST

The discussion will cover:

• The sharp recession following the global lockdowns resulting from COVID-19.

• Fiscal stimulus measures and the liquidity injection by central banks.

• What shape will recovery likely follow over the next six months to a year?

• What will the new normal likely mean for businesses?
