Electrical Inspectors Assoc. of Alberta 2018 annual conference
From Friday 02 February 2018
To Saturday 03 February 2018
The Electrical Inspectors Association of Alberta (EIAA) is hosting its annual conference February 2-3, 2018, at the Chateau Louis Hotel & Conference Centre in Edmonton.
EIAA’s mission is to promote the uniform and unbiased understanding and application of the Rules & Regulations adopted under Alberta’s Safety Codes Act.
Chair Larry Cantelo says the conference committee will aim to compile all submission items and send them two weeks in advance to those who have pre-registered, giving everyone time to review the items before they are discussed.
“We already have several items to go over,” says Larry, so if you have any item you wish discussed, please “submit it as soon as possible to allow time to conduct background research” on the agenda item.
There are also two keynote presentations:
1. An overview of the CE Code Section 10 rewrite by Rene Leduc.
2. An overview of CE Code 2018 changes (excluding Section 10) by Steve Douglas.
The EIAA annual general meeting will be held February 3, right after lunch.
A block of (30) rooms has been reserved until January 22, 2018. When making a reservation, please mention the EIAA Conference.
The fee is just $125 for members of EIAA and IAEI (International Association of Electrical Inspectors), and $165 for non-members.
Reserve your attendance now. There are two (2) ways to register:
