Initially scheduled for May 2020, then rescheduled to November 2020 due to COVID, then again to May 5-6, 2021, the 24th edition of the MEET Show has been cancelled outright, and will now occur May 4-5, 2022, at its usual home, the Moncton Coliseum.

“As you know, given the size and nature of the show and the travel that comes along with it, the Covid-19 pandemic has forced the rescheduling of the event several times,” says show manager Shawn Murphy. “The ongoing quarantine requirements, border closures—and the fact that many companies still have bans on corporate travel and in-person events—have led to this latest date change.”

The Mechanical Electrical Electronic Technology (MEET) Show, which normally occurs every two years, brings together professionals from across Canada and the U.S., including contractors, engineers, tradespeople, utilities, developers, architects, building managers and distributors, and showcases thousands of building technology products for the industrial, commercial and residential sectors.

“For those of you with 2020/2021 bookings for the MEET Show, all current booth contracts will be carried over to the May 2022 edition. You don’t need to do anything to secure or hold your space. We will be in touch in the coming months as required to confirm any outstanding details,” Murphy added.

MEET is produced by Master Promotions and presented by the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Maritime Sections, the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH), Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) and Atlantic Canada Mechanical Exhibitors (ACME).
