“Unleashing Ontario’s Potential” Industry Summit – Skilled Trades Ontario

Registration is now open for “Unleashing Ontario’s Potential”—Skilled Trades Ontario’s inaugural industry summit for skilled trades and apprenticeship being held May 3, 2023, from 8 am to 3 pm, at the Toronto Congress Centre.

The summit will focus on the importance of apprenticeship training in shaping the future of our province, bringing together industry leaders, educators, and apprentices to discuss best practices, share ideas, and explore new opportunities to support and grow apprenticeship in Ontario.

Dan Mills, deputy minister, New Brunswick Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour, joins the summit as keynote speaker. Mills has been serving New Brunswickers for over 25 years, including a four-year term as director, Apprenticeship, with the department of Post-Secondary Education, Training, and Labour. During this time, Mills served as chair of the Canadian Council of Directors of Apprenticeship.
