Exfo introduced the FTB-720 LAN/WAN access OTDR, saying it is the ideal tool for any field technician performing installation and repair on singlemode and multimode fiber networks. The FTB-720 is optimized for fiber optic contractors and private network operators, enabling them to test and qualify any type of fiber network. The OTDR presents accurate multimode testing at both 50µm and 62.5µm with controlled launch conditions, ensuring 10Gb ethernet turn-up in evolving multimode networks. The FTB-720 offers a widescreen TFT display with hybrid touchscreen/keypad navigation. Platform connectivity is via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ethernet and multiple USB ports; this platform also integrates PDF report generation and supports over 15 different languages.
