Exfo says its Brix System for network service assurance now supports active/passive monitoring for wireless networks utilizing long-term evolution (LTE) standards. Built on a distributed and scalable architecture, the LTE monitoring solution focuses on end-to-end QoS and QoE monitoring, enabling service providers to monitor their LTE network at multiple service delivery layers including control, data and service planes. By combining this service assurance solution with Exfo’s portfolio of equipment, the company says it now offers a single-source solution that can help improve quality of service while reducing capital and operational expenses.
