Extech’s new MA620 (AC) and MA640 (AC/DC) 600A True RMS clamp meters offer numerous multimeter capabilities plus a built-in, non-contact voltage detector. They are compact and offer a 1.5-in. jaw opening to accommodate conductors up to 750MCM. The large, illuminated, dual-display features a four-digit (6000 count) readout complemented by a bar graph display. A thumb-dial selector is ergonomically placed for one-handed operation. The MA620 and MA640 offer user-selectable auto- or manual-ranging plus functions that include: current, voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle (dwell), diode and continuity tests, as well as temperature (using the included Type K thermistor probe). The meters are CAT III-rated; each comes complete with test leads, Type K bead wire temperature probe, 9V battery and soft carrying case.
