January 23, 2014 – Extron Electronics has introduced the Cable Cubby 500 and the Cable Cubby 700 enclosures for audio/video connectivity and AC power.

The cable pass-through plate boasts a unique, split-ring design that facilitates cable installation while eliminating the need for separate cable grommets. As part of the series/2 line, the modular enclosures feature an integrated clamp system for securing onto furniture surfaces and are available in a black anodized or brushed aluminum finish. To support the charging of smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices, the optional AC+USB 200 series power modules provide one or two AC power outlets, plus two 5 VDC USB power outlets with 2.1A/10.5 watts of total power.
